Paul Maddox of Arkansas 911 News announced plans to sue Facebook in a Facebook Live video earlier today. In the video, Maddox claims that the social media giant's refusal to allow Arkansas 911 News to permanently ban people from Facebook as the reason behind the lawsuit. "When people get on here and act a fool, then they don't need to be on Facebook period," Maddox said.
He is funding this legal effort by selling T-shirts on Arkansas911news.com for $500 each. During this fundraising campaign, the website will only be available to users that have purchased a shirt. This will be verified by only allowing users to access the websites newly created online store when you first visit the site. Once a shirt is purchased, you will be forwarded on to the full site.
