Hot Springs, AR - Leaders in Hot Springs have unanimously voted to appropriate $80 million to replace all major intersections within the city limits with roundabouts. Directors cite drivers' always ignoring yield signs, not knowing how to navigate four-way stops and complete disregard of signal lights. "Roundabouts remove all confusion for motorists."
The directors say they plan on funding the massive project by raising municipal bills by 300% and making a large number of secondary roads toll operated. Open discussion on the measure will be held at City Hall during the next scheduled meeting.
