Hot Springs, AR - An out of state cyclist has spent days in the same spot examining the bike lanes in downtown Hot Springs. After days of bewilderment, the man says he's still confused. "So the bike lane and the right-hand lane are the same things? I just don't get it." His determination to find answers has led to a following of people standing at the corner of Reserve St. and Central Ave trying to find a solution themselves. "It will probably go down as one of the great mysteries of the world," one onlooker said.
City leaders say they don't see what all the confusion is about. "Share the road. It's a very simple concept when you think about it," said one board member. The number of people he is attracting has the city considering taking action though. What that action could be is yet to be determined. "Right now we are focused on making sure traffic isn't impeded and making sure he stays hydrated."
The man has no idea how long he will be downtown working this out in his head but feels it's important he stays the course and figure it out. "It could be days, weeks, months or even years but I plan on staying right here until I figure this out."
