Hot Springs, AR - A man in Hot Springs was arrested earlier this week for going 200 miles over the speed limit according to Hot Springs Police. The man identified as 55-year-old Doc Hudson says he was just trying to stay cool. "Do you realize what it's like to drive in this heat with no air conditioning? You're damn right I was going that fast," he said in a statement.
Hot Springs Police are urging motorist to stay off the roads if they don't have proper air conditioning in their vehicles. "You're not going to be able to safely reach those speeds on our roads due to the ungodly amount of potholes, so please if you don't have AC don't drive."
