Oaklawn Racing and Gaming today announced plans to build an expansion project in excess of $100 million that will completely shut down traffic flow on Central Avenue when complete. The project is a testament to Oaklawn's long history of making commuting through Central as blood boiling as possible.
"This historic announcement represents a new chapter in the rich 114-year history of pedestrian accidents and bumper to bumper traffic on Central Avenue," said Louis Cella, president of Oaklawn Jockey Club.
