Hot Springs, AR - Hot Springs Police and Lifenet Paramedics were called to a residence on the 500 block of Woodlawn Ave after a man hosting a dinner party there served guests unsweet tea. Upon arrival, EMT's transported 10 adults and 6 children to the hospital with life threating injuries due to the toxic shock of sudden exposure to the unsweetened substance. "I've been doing this for over a decade, and I've never seen anything so bad," one medic said.
Police arrested 28-year-old Dylan Garrett Cole at the scene for aggravated assault, unlawful production and distribution of an illegal substance and reckless endangerment times sixteen. "I hope this man gets buried underneath the prison for the harm he's caused these people," according to one officer.
Cole claims that everyone is "overreacting" and it's "just unsweet tea." He is currently being held on zero bond. His court date is scheduled for early next month. We'll have more on this story as it develops.
